Congratulation Message from General Secretary
It is a great honor and privilege for me to congratulate you on behalf of EvaSUE’s Staff, Board and myself for this extraordinary achievement. It is pleasing to see that all the hard work, dedication, and the effort you have put in is finally paying off. We are truly grateful for the many blessings you received, but none has had greater impact on your young lives than God that have led you to where you are now!
At this time of celebration and joy, I would like to remind you that every promotion in one’s life is for the responsibilities that one may carry on.
If we can observe critically, we can see that we are merely stewards of the time, talents, treasures and people that we have under our care. Hence, on this day of your valuable promotion that would transiting you to the next level, I would like to encourage you to continue disposing your responsibility by playing your transformational role as of being salt and light in the times to come. Take heart and use every God given opportunities and gifts to change the current scenario of our nation and the church to bring about a better life for tomorrow. Take part in to combine your toil with that of others on the field.
Speaking of ‘change’, I would like to bring two important challenges at this very important day of your life. Every extraordinary change in world’s history had their beginning in someone’s endeavors to live the change that they envisioned. My other challenge is well said by Philip Yancey, the well-knows Christian author, and I paraphrase – “Changes come not by the discovery of something that was not known before. They happen when somebody takes radically something that was always there!”
I would like to remind you that while staying in EvaSUE’s ministry, you have already been acquainted with the greatest change factor in history – the Word of God. So, let us take the word of God radically and submit to it as the highest authority in our lives and ministry. I strongly believe that this is is the way how we can see the change that we are craving for.
Finally, as you leave your campuses and join the new phase of life, I would like to stress the importance of your active involvement as members in the body – in the local churches. Beloved graduates, this is not an option; it is rather a necessity. I would also like to profoundly extend our invitation to keep your attachment with EvaSUE through our Associates’ Ministry. Remember that the next students are awaiting your support and encouragement, as you did from the previous graduates.
I wish you all the best!
Robel Chemeda
