Discipleship is the continual process of growing that happens in the life of a person who professes faith in Jesus Christ. The end result of the process is destined to attain the likeness of Jesus Christ (Rom.8:29). Developing a Christ like character, walking in the Christian principles as written in scriptures and witnessed in the life of Jesus Christ, is anticipated in discipleship program. There are diverse life walks and practices that interplay in the discipleship process of an individual. By nature discipleship is principle guided and practice centered. It involves spiritual disciplines like prayer, reading scriptures, worship, fellowship, service, and ministry both in the church and outside the church.
